Abstract submission

Abstract

Gli abstract potranno essere inviati entro il 31 dicembre 2023 (ULTIMA DATA UTILE) compilando il modulo che troverete in calce alla pagina.
Gli abstract dovranno essere obbligatoriamente in inglese e verranno pubblicati su una rivista internazionale del settore e dovranno inoltre contenere:
1) Objective,
2) Methods,
3) Descriptions and Results,
4) Conclusions.

Gli abstract che non seguiranno i criteri sopra riportati per stesura, lingua e data di scadenza NON SARANNO ACCETTATI.

L’eventuale accettazione del materiale inviato, vi verrà comuicato entro fine Gennaio 2024.

NB: La Commissione Scientifica eseguirà un attenta selezione degli abstract pervenuti, per cui si raccomanda di scrivere documenti dettagliati ed esaurienti al fine di far comprendere la bontà del lavoro presentato. Si ricorda inoltre che non verranno presi in considerazione abstract relativi a miscellanee.

Il formato obbligatorio per l’accettazione dell’abstract deve contenere: Introduzione, Materiali e Metodi, Risultati, Conclusioni.

Abstracts

It will be possible to submit abstracts at latest within December the 31th,  2022 (LAST POSSIBLE SUBMISSION), filling in the form that you will find here after.
It is mandatory for the abstracts to be in English as they will be published on a scientific international magazine and they must include: 
1) Objective,
2) Methods,
3) Descriptions and Results,
4) Conclusions.

Abstracts that will not follow the above mentioned criteria for compilation, language and expiring date, WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.

Within the end of January 2024 you will be informed of the acceptance of the submitted abstracts.

NOTE: The Scientific Commission will carry out a strict selection of the received abstracts, so it is advisable to write detailed and exhaustive documents so as to let the validity of the work well understandable. Please note that miscellaneous abstracts will not be considered.

The mandatory format for the acceptance of the abstracts must include: Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Conclusions.

    Istruzioni per la realizzazione e consegna delle presentazioni PC o MAC

    I relatori sono invitati ad utilizzare preferibilmente il programma PowerPoint per Windows e dovranno consegnare il proprio materiale su chiavetta USB (pen-drive) al Centro Slides almeno 2 ore prima della presentazione o, laddove possibile, la sera prima.

    1. I computer predisposti al centro slide per la verifica delle presentazioni sono con sistema operativo Windows 10 e sono forniti con il pacchetto MICROSOFT OFFICE di recente produzione per la gestione del Ppt (Power Point). Inoltre il pacchetto comprende Word ed Excel.

      Acrobat Reader sempre fornito a corredo come software legge i file in PDF.

      • Prezi Software di gestione presentazione, bisogna fornire il file eseguibile (exe) per la lettura corretta del contenuto.
      • Il centro slide sarà dotato di un pc Mac utile per il controllo delle presentazioni da parte degli utenti Mac
      • Eventuali presentazioni realizzate su software KEYNOTE saranno gestite sul Mac del centro slide e trasferite in regia al computer Mac predisposto per la messa in onda delle presentazioni.
      • Inoltre, s’informa che il pacchetto office è disponibile anche su Mac. (Generalmente l’export dei contenuti da Mac per Windows comporta dei problemi sulla grafica e la visualizzazione del contenuto
      • Le presentazioni possono essere riprodotte a video direttamente dal computer Mac del partecipante previo passaggio obbligatorio per il centro slide.
      • Al fine di evitare problemi di incompatibilità tra software si consiglia all’utente Mac di presentarsi con il proprio computer e di fornire al tecnico di sala l’adattatore video del suo dispositivo.
    2. È assolutamente necessario che eventuali file (filmati/video/immagini) siano memorizzati nella stessa cartella della presentazione in PPT se vengono letti direttamente da Power Point
    3. Si consiglia l’utilizzo di slide semplici senza troppe animazioni e con caratteri non inferiori a 14 punti.
    4. Qualora vengano utilizzati font non standard (non compresi nel sistema operativo Windows 10 o Office 2013 o mac OS, si raccomanda di portare con se i file necessari alla loro installazione unitamente alla presentazione presso il centro slide ed informare i tecnici presenti con debito anticipo (almeno 5 ore prima del proprio intervento).
    5. Si consiglia, per la leggerezza della presentazione, di inserire immagini in formato .jpg, .gif o .png (saranno comunque accettati anche altri tipi di estensioni purché riconosciute dai software sopra indicati).
    6. Si consiglia che le dimensioni delle presentazioni PowerPoint non superino i 100 MB esclusi i filmati.
    7. I filmati presenti nella presentazione devono avere le seguenti estensioni: .avi, .wmv, .mpeg. Non sarà possibile visualizzare filmati creati con codec proprietari di macchine professionali.
    8. Si consiglia di non mettere più di un filmato per slide. In ogni caso si raccomanda che i filmati da inserire nella presentazione non superino i 100 MB cadauno e non abbiano un Bit Rate molto alto. Qualora le dimensioni dei filmati superino suddetto limite, si consiglia di consegnare una copia dei filmati presso i tecnici del centro slide con debito anticipo (almeno 5 ore prima della presentazione) al fine di effettuare le eventuali conversioni.
    9. Per facilitare il caricamento delle presentazioni presso il centro slide si consigliano i supporti: pen Drive o hard disk USB. È comunque possibile scaricare le presentazioni dal proprio notebook presso il centro slide, purché ci si presenti con debito anticipo: almeno 3 ore prima della relazione.
    10. Il formato delle presentazioni consigliato è il formato 16:9 ad ogni modo i formati 4:3 sono comunque proiettabili.
    11. I Relatori sono invitati a presentarsi al Centro Slide almeno 2 ore prima dell’inizio della sessione per effettuare tutte le verifiche e caricare la presentazione. I Relatori coinvolti nella prima sessione della mattina sono invitati a consegnare le proprie slide la sera precedente.

    Instructions for the realization and delivery of PC presentations

    Speakers are requested to possibly use PowerPoint for Windows and must give the presentation on a USB pen-drive to the Slides Centre, at least 2 hours before the presentation or, where possible, the evening before.

    1. Computers in used at the Slide Centre for the check of the presentations will use the Windows 10 system and will use the most recent MICROSOFT OFFICE package using the Ppt program (Power Point). Moreover the packege includes Word and Excel. Acrobat Reader that goes along with the software can read the PDF files.

      4. Prezi Software for presentations, files must be supplied in (exe) for the correct reading of the document.
      5. The Slide Centre will be supplied by a Mac so that the correct control of presentation for the MAC utilizers.
      6. Presentations prepared with the KEYNOTE software will be handled with a Mac of the SLIDE CENTRE and passed over from the technicians to the Mac settled for these presentations.
      7. Moreover we inform that the Office package will be available also on the Mac. (Generally the export of the documents from Mac to Windows create problems for the graphic part and the visualization of the contents.
      8. Presentations can be used with the speaker device but always utilizing the SLIDE CENTRE.
      9. To avoid problems between softwares, we suggest the Mac user to utilize his computer and to supply to the technician his own adapter.
    2. It is absolutely necessary that any files (movies / video / images) are stored in the same folder as the presentation using PPT if read directly from Power Point.
    3. We suggest the use of simple slides without too many animations and with a font size of 14 points or greater.
    4. If customs fonts are used (not included in “Windows 10 operating system, or Office 2013 or Mac OS) we recommend to bring the necessary fonts for the setting together with the presentation to the Slide Centre, and to inform the staff well in advance (at least 5 hours before the speech).
    5. We suggest to include images in .jpg, .gif or .png format, in order to have a light weight presentations. Other formats may be accepted if accepted by the software we recomand.
    6. We suggest not to exceed 100 MB (movies excluded) for each Power Point presentation.
    7. Movies must have the following extensions: .avi, .wmv, .mpeg. Movies created with proprietary codecs from professional machines, will not be viewable.
    8. We suggest inserting no more than one movie for each slide, with a recommended maximum size of 100 MB each (the Bit Rate is not very high). Should the movie’s size exceed that limit, we suggest bringing a copy of the movies to the Slide Centre well in advance (at least 5 hours before the speech) in order to apply any possible conversion/compression to the file.
    9. In order to quickly upload presentations at the Slide Centre, we recommend the following media supports: pen drive or hard disk USB. It is possible to download the presentations directly from your notebook at the slide centre, if they arrive at the Slide Centre at least 3 hours before the speech.
    10. The software automatically adapts projection format according to the slides’ format of 16:9, however the 4:3 formats can be projected.
    11. Speakers are kindly invited to go to the Slide Centre at least 2 hours before the session’s start in order to verify and upload their presentation. Speaker whose session is scheduled as the first in the morning are kindly invited to deliver their slide at the Slide Centre the day before.
