Rational:
We planned this Breast Aesthetics course by AICPE with the aim to focus on specific technical aspects on breast augmentation, giving to the attendees not only knowledges but also tips to improve the practical surgical approach.
The course is aimed at an international audience. ESAPS and SICPRE contribute to the level of the course together with the patronage of ANISC.
The event will take place in Palermo, in the breathtaking location of Mondello bay. Many national and international speakers will be hosted to share and discuss their experiences to gain better results in cosmetic breast surgery.
The course is made up into two full days divided in communications and live surgery. Expert surgeons on cosmetic breast surgery will focus on preoperative planning and all the fundamental and critical details of the surgical procedures for excellent aesthetic results.
We chose to include the most controversial issues and the respective solutions trying to update the Specialists as well as the future Plastic surgeons.
Moreover, we want to encourage young surgeons writing on breast surgery with a dedicated award * for those enrolled in the course.
A successful breast surgeon must be a perfectionist: identify all fundamental variables, understand how to manipulate them and be aware that the preoperative marking, the choice of implants, the scrupulousness in the execution must be accurate and performed without haste.
We hope that these days will give the attendees a broader and shared view of breast augmentation issues, for better understanding concepts and techniques.

Pre-requisites to be eligible for this award:
Submit an updated scientific review on the long-term results of breast augmentation and prostheses, of which the first author is a young surgeon aged less than or equal to 35, also a specialist and who has enrolled in the course.
